Proud Mother

Well, my boys made me very proud this weekend.
They are members of the OA (Honor Society in Boy Scouts) and performed their first Ordeal Ceremony. Many members of the OA were very impressed with the respect they used for the ceremony.
I have been learning alot about my Native American traditions. I have been teaching them to respect their ways and if you are representing Native Americans to do it with respect. They have gained a greater understanding of the art of smudging. And greater respect and pride, being part of the Drum team (showing respect for the drum, their sticks and the music).
I love to listen to them and I am sad that I could not be there to see them this weekend (must be member of OA).
