2nd Saddest Day of My Life

As I sat just behind my dear daughter, Jennifer, I was reminded of the burial of her brother, Andrew. Then I realized there is something worse than losing your own child. Watching your child lose her child was truly hard. I felt helpless. I received great comfort in seeing that she has a wonderful support network.
One of dear daughters realized how great it was to have all the family together, in spite of the circumstances.
My mother (from VA), my brother and his wife (from NC), Dan's sister and her husband (from OH), my sister (from Chattanooga), my daughter (from NC) and all from MS were all in attendance. It was the first time in 5 years, that I had all my children in one spot. I took advantage and took a family picture.
