Where Did the Month of August GO!

Well, here I am at the end of another month and wondering (not "who wrote the book of love") where has the month gone.
The only thing I am sure of is meetings (scouts, church and homeschooling) and planning for the coming homeschooling year.
Oh, yeah and we had our first week of school here. After a lazy but hectic summer, routines are hard to get back into. So by Friday, a few were grumpy. No more sleeping in, no more mindless hours of computer or electronic gaming, having to use our brains --- oh so painful.
It was a good week, though.

School, School, and more Planning

Well, this year is hopefully going to be different. As other years have not lived up to what I hoped.
The Cerveny and Marston (my daughter) households are going to combine for part of the day. Or at least the female contingent, my only school age son will be working separately. My youngest is the same age as my daughter's oldest.
We are going to use in addition to societies standard subjects, a curriculum called Training Our Daughters to be Keepers At Home. So our life is full of planning for the coming year, actually weeks so we can get started.
I am also trying to get myself restarted on my AAMI (midwifery study course). And I am feeling the need in my heart to also start a herbalist course.
All of this planning and thinking is so exhausting, in addition to my normal and abnormal happenings in life. BUT I will survive :)
