Tough Choices

I am at a crossroads, yet again in my life.
Dan has officially retired.
We are down to one child under the age of 18 (we still have 2 others under 21).
We did not prepare well for retirement, financially that is.
I started a business as a consultant for Pure Romance. That so far is not going well.
So now I need to devote my energies to this business so that we will have the money to do some of the things, we would like to do.  But unfortunately I don't see travel being a part of it for a bit.  I need to stay close to home and build a client base and a base of income.  It saddens me because I miss my children who are not close.
We need to make repairs and add-on to the house.  I still have the overwhelming urges to have a nice garden and to have chickens and rabbits for food.  This doesn't work well with travel either or working Boy Scouts in the summer.
So yet again in my life, I will be trying desperately to improve our lives.
